As a manager, key person risk is terrifying. If you’re a key person, you may be temporarily indispensable, but you’re also a risk that requires mitigation.

And if you act in a way that resists that mitigation, you’re a critical risk requiring mitigation.

And if you resist that mitigation …

It doesn’t end well.
