Having never been in HR, I don’t know what they call us.
They do say people are our greatest asset.
Well, assets depreciate. Assets wear out. Assets have a “useful life” and are subject to refresh.
Sounds like legacy infrastructure to me.

FTE #1: In my short time here, I’ve noticed much of our legacy infrastructure has exceeded its five-year service life. This year, I’d like us to target a 30% refresh of the fleet.
FTE #2: In HR, we don’t normally refer to our senior staff as “legacy infrastructure”.
