    As an enterprise architect I think I deliver some of my greatest value simply by being accessible so that people stop by to chat, *before* they get a project past the glimmer-in-the-eye stage. I wouldn’t call it killing stupidity though – folks simply aren’t aware f the same issues I am. Tiny bits of shaping early in a project can make all the difference.

    Be careful – calling it “killing stupidity” could be perceived as “promoting an attitude of violence”, and require you to go on a HR-led sensitivity training course, where you learn about correct ways of coping with persons who are differently intelligent…
