It just hit me that I may be in the wrong line of business
University? You may be running the risk here of elevating the ‘development’ way beyond it’s station.
Before studying management I used to lead groups in World of Warcraft. I found the best way to progress as a team was to fill about 80-90% of a group with people who really know what they are doing in their roll, and the rest experienced but challenged by a new task they aren’t used to. Once they master it, shuffle it around as to who is challenged.
