That was hard work. I appreciate it’s really hard to put a whole story into one frame but I had to come back a couple of times to this one to work who was who.
I think that’s what I get for trying to tell 2 stories at once.
Personally, I disagree. I had to semi re-read the first chat bubble because I generally skim webcomics, but I don’t consider that a burden. I think you did a really good job on this, actually, because the employer representative’s dialogue flows well and comes off authentic, not scripted. My $.02.
New favourite.
Excellent. What was your old one?

And the path from one to the other says a lot about my descent into bitterness.
As someone who has never worked for more than five years in one place, I grok this.
The favourites would make a great thread. Mine is the guy reading the annual report, saying ‘There is nothing in here about my self-actualisation’. And the caption is: There’s a lesson here for us all.
Nick, got the link?
Craig, here’s the link -> http://onefte.com/2010/01/17/financials-and-feelings/
Nick, I think that was like the 20th comic I did! It’s only sightly disconcerting to know I’ve been failing to live up to it since.
