That sounds like you’ve said it before.
Actually, there are lots of us who get really nervous when there’s no feedback because we don’t know if you’re the type of boss who tells everyone *else* when he’s unhappy with you. They exist. They don’t give feedback other than through the grapevine. And they’re a really good reason to leave.
No feedback is always bad, but I guess you’re right, some of us are more optimistic than others.
