    It’s often the other way around in IT support. People think that if users weren’t leaving their brains at home on a regular basis, IT people would have nothing to do. Whereas the case is more that there are more than enough repairs, projects, enhancements, management decrees, bugfixes, and tests to keep the IT department running until the sun goes cold. End-user-generated problems are just annoying interruptions to the _real_ work.
